Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank
Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank (CPBB) is a not-for-profit community blood bank incorporated in 1960 by local physicians and community leaders who recognized the need for an organization to manage the regional blood supply. We are committed to our community, donors, and customers to provide a quality blood supply, responsive to community needs, in a cost effective manner.
Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank is the primary blood provider for 17 hospitals in the surrounding eight counties of South Central Pennsylvania. Through strong relationships with partner hospitals, blood is collected at 6 hospital blood donation centers, 5 CPBB centers, and 7 mobile operations. Mobile operations run 7 days/week to provide convenient opportunities for the community in their places of work, recreation, and education.
