The Alliance for Community Transfusion Services (ACTS) is committed to delivering blood services solutions to hospitals and their patients through our collaborative alliance of non-profit, independent blood centers. Each year, our 16- member community collects, processes, and distributes more than 1.9 million blood products to nearly 1,000 healthcare facilities throughout the United States. ACTS initiatives, shared resources, and expertise helps ensure that blood products and related services are delivered on a consistent, timely, and cost-effective basis.

ACTS is a member of Blood Centers of America (BCA), America’s Blood Centers (ABC), and also administers the Blood Emergency Readiness Corps (BERC) program, a joint effort of 35 community blood centers and the nation’s first and only emergency blood reserve created to respond to mass casualty events.
